Help the festival

Luna Levy

The Lunar Levy is the fundraising scheme for Slaithwaite Moonraking Festival. There is a box in most retailers in the village to collect a ‘tax’ of 1p in the pound of all purchases made. If everyone does it…we will raise enough money enable Moonraking to take place every other year. You can contribute to the Levy here and help keep the festival alive.

You can choose your own theme, create your own technique or do a combination of ours. The most important thing is that your picture lets the light behind it through so that it shines and is ‘illuminated’

Voluntary donation

There is no charge for resources or specialist materials. However the more residents that take part (which is what we want) the less we have to go round. By donating (we suggest £5 per household window) you are enabling us to spread the resources further. Anything left in the pot will go towards the 2023 Festival.
