How can you help?

  2. MAKE a donation if you are able (it can be as little as £2) – you can do this here
  3. Encouraging friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues to do the same 
 

As a school or community group you can help us reach the fundraising target by: 

  • Running a fun fundraising activity or event 
  • Running a non-uniform day 
  • Running a sponsored activity or competition 
  • Dreaming up your own unique fundraising scheme 
  • Publicising and encouraging support of our fundraising programme 
 

As a business/organisation you can help us reach the fundraising target by: 

  • Selling a special item in your shop or restaurant to raise money for the festival 
  • Staging a raffle, collection or challenge 
  • Organising a fundraising event 
  • Dreaming up your own unique fundraising scheme 
  • Sponsoring the festival with a cash donation 
  • Publicising and encouraging support of our fundraising programme

Support our Fundraising Events Programme

Saturday July 2ndThe Great Slawit Garage Sale – It’s a chance to have a clear out and buy some ‘new-to-you’ stuff!. From 9.00-12 noon stalls will spring up around Slaithwaite. If you would like to join in and get on the map with your stall it will cost £5 send us an email and we will sort it. Click here to see the current sale locations. Map entries close at 8pm on Friday 1st July. For the final version of the map please access after this deadline.

Saturday July 2nd – Please support our Fundraising ‘Games’ stall at the Wilberlee School Summer Fair 12-4pm

Saturday July 9th – Family Ceilidh with the Moonraker Band 7-11pm at The Civic Hall. Lots of dancing, with supper and a bar. Tickets £8/£5 concession £22 family of 4, available at Green Valley Grocers and Acorn and Pip or on line at www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/moonraking-fundraising-ceilidh-tickets-331194350217 

Sunday July 10thLive at The Watershed – The Méabh Begley Trio – Irish Music from Kerry played by 3 talented young musicians. Fundraising Bar. Tickets £10/£6 concessions available from wegottivckets.com and on the door 

Saturday July 16th – Please support our Fundraising ‘Making’ Stall at The Duck Race on Spa Park.
